We have had a great time with all of you these last several years, and are very glad to have danced, dined and partied with you all. However, at this time I am sad to have to annouce that the place you know and love as Great Slates is no more. The establishment has been aquired by the off-track betting parlor next door and has been re-named to fit more in line with horse racing.
We still get lots of email from visitors, patrons and bands and are still glad to hear from you. We would like to encourage those of you who could use some local publicity to visit an up and coming local online magazine, LifeOnTheShore.com. This web site is published for and about the eastern shore and will feature local culture, entertainment, history and even local businesses big and small. No matter who you are or what you do, you can get some great free publicity and reach both local and worldwide audiences by being featured there.
